‘Aarogya’ meaning wellness and ‘Aalay’ meaning home
Aarogyalay is a program that aims for wellness. The word Aarogyalay is derived from Hindi words ‘Aarogya’ (meaning wellness) and ‘Vidyalaya’ (meaning school), so, Aarogyalay simply means wellness in schools. The mission of Aarogyalay is to spread awareness about healthy habits and adoption of a healthy lifestyle based on Ayurveda from the very beginning at the school level, thereby, making all Vidyalays into Aarogyalays. Also, it is a platform for Ayurveda experts to showcase their expertise.

We are indeed thankful to Aarogyalay for organizing the workshop on “Stress Management” for the teachers of our association. Mr. Rajeev Narang undoubtedly has the gift of the gab. He took the adolescents by storm. He taught them the 3E formula of life i.e. Eat, Exercise and Enjoy. He threw light on diet they should take, the kind of exercises they should do to remove fatigue of body and mind. Mr. Narang concluded the session by saying that when the first 2E’s are taken care of you automatically start enjoying life because you become equipped to deal with stress and live life king-size. He came up with a number of laughter exercises which could act as stress busters. The teachers found them very useful. We look forward to your support and guidance in future too.
